Papyrus is tall water plant used
to make writing material by Ancient Egyptians,
Greeks, and Romans.
The Egytians form of paper. It was the material they wrote on and kept important records with.
Pharaoh

Egytian ruler, the defintion of pharaoh is big house becuase he lives in a great house or palace.
The pharaoh was both the ruler of relgion and politics.
Pyramid

Tomb were the Ancient Egyptians early pharaohs were buried. Later they were buried in tombs in the valley of the kings.
The pyramid protected the pharaohs buried there from grave robbers and showed importance.
Red land

The Red Land was a barren desert
that protected Egypt on two sides.
The red land on the west protected them from attackers on both sides from attackers.
Shadoof

bucket attached to a long pole used to transfer river water to storage basins
Helped the Egyptians get water from the river and thats how they get their water.
Theocracy

Goverment where the ruler is both the leader of the relgion and politics.
Egypt was a theocracy because the pharaoh was both kinds of ruler.
